Bio

David Michael Gamble, 7 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Asa Gamble, Jr. of 7019 Glen Hills Road, Fort Worth, died Saturday, July 12 in Fort Worth. Death was attributed to accidental drowning. David was born in Arlington, Texas and lived there until moving to Fort Worth 2 1/2 years ago. He was a student at the United Cerebral Palsy Day Center School and a member of St. John The Apostle Catholic Church in Fort Worth. Requem mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John The Apostle Catholic Church. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Gerald Cemetery with Rev. Olivar Johnson of St. Mary's Church in West and Rev. Gardner Ellis of Leroy Baptist Church concluding the memorial services. Survivors, besides his parents are: 3 sisters, Annette, Charlotte and Patricia Gamble; and 1 brother, Richard Gamble, all of Fort Worth; Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albin Dvoracek of West and Mrs. A. B. Gamble of Leroy; Great grandfather, Charles Dvoracek of West and several aunts and uncles. Aderhold Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
