Bio
From Dave KRIPAL, "... a note she wrote on her sixteenth birthday is dated 1911, which would mean she was born in 1895." Additionally, "I have seen sources that indicate her birth date is anywhere from 1894 to 1896, but last Thanksgiving I found what I would consider to be the final word on it - her birth certificate. Granted, it is a "delayed" birth certificate (issued to her in 1958 from the State of Oklahoma Dept. of Health), but I have to believe she knew when she was born when she requested this document. It reads: 'Date of Birth was stated to be Sept. 21, 1895.'"
