Headstone has death date as 1924, but she is on the 1930 Census report living with her son Isom Jackson and family at the age of 77. Death Records from The Mena Star Vol. 13, April 5, 1934 Page 128, Col. 2 Owens Chapel--Grandmother Hogan passed away Tuesday afternoon at the home of her son Jack Hogan. Her passing was not unexpected for she had been seriously ill for more than a month. Funeral services were held at the Owens Chapel church Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. Bear of Mena. Decedent became a member of the Primitive Baptist church at the age of 19. She is survived by two daughters, four sons, a number of grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Surviving children are Mrs. Nannie Ridling of Smithville, Okla., Mrs. Bessie Roberts of Tulsa, Okla., Will Hogan of Vandervoort, Jack and Jim Hogan of Mena and Irving Hogan of Texas, who was unable to get here
