Bio

Julius was one of 17 children born to his mother, Louise Baur Kotzebeu. She was born in 1847 in Russia, immigrated in 1853 and married Meinhardt about 1867 according to the 1900 Census. On 27 Nov 1907 Julius married Helena Goetz, daughter of Ferdinand and Marie Wrobleski Goetz of Gonzales; he passed away just 11 years later. The couple had two daughters: Allyne Helen and Doris Marie. His wife Helen later married Edgar Roggenbucke. The death certificate for Julius shows Public Cemetery in Moulton.
