Son of Russell Young, born Georgia, and Mahala Ballenger, born South Carolina. Married Jessie Stone on February 15, 1905 in Rusk County, Texas. Children: James Noble Young Sarah S Young He was a retired cattleman, 72 years old, married, and a lifetime resident of Henderson, Texas when he died. Informant was Mrs. G. A. Sportsman; burial was May 28, 1951. A. Crim Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (Texas death certificate# 26433)
