FLOIS H. GOUR Bullard - Services for Flois Herman Gour, 86, Bullard are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Burks-Walker-Tippet Funeral Directors in Tyler with the Rev. Tom Pesnell officiating. Burial will be in Wofford Cemetery in Frankston. Mr. Gour died Saturday at a Tyler hospital. He was born May 2, 1907 in Zawalla [Zwolle], La. to John and Lela Gour and resided in East Texas most of his life. He was a retired farmer and rancher. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 53 years, Mammie Elizabeth (Johnson) Gour in 1980; two sons, John Herman and Phillip Flois Gour; two daughters, Quanzala Ann Gour and June Gour Cecial; two grandsons, Willis Ray and Jerry Wayne Gour; and a brother, Howard Gour. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Valeria and Donald McElroy of Bullard; one son and two daughters-in-law, David and Mary Gour of Bullard and Katherine Gour of Whitehouse; four sisters, Vadie Bell of Flint, Purvis Bell, Nadine Parrott and Beatrice Parrott, all of Frankston; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will include grandsons Phillip Wayne Gour, Glenn Ray Tillman, Robin McElroy, Dale Cecil, Ben Johnson, Darrell Crymes, B. R. Ramsey and Chick Frazier. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Gregory Gour and Sammie Green. Family will receive friends from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
