Bio

Harry D. Grout, 73, of Capron, died June 20, 2010. He is survived by two sons, Edgar Schmitt and Ronald Grout, both of Harrisonburg; three daughters, Loretta Robinson (David) of Southampton, Leatha Grout, Peggy Grout; best friend, Elisabeth Grout, all of Germany; eight grandchildren, Joshua T. Grout (Penny), Malichia Grout, Patrick Ward, Joshua J. Grout, Aaron Grout, Logan Schmitt, Derek Grout, Thomas Robinson and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday (tonight) from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bennett and Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan. Graveside services will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia. Daily News Record, Harrisonburg VA June 22, 2010 Harry was a farmer - share cropper with William F.
