Mildred Honke Passes Away Mildred Anna Honke of O'Neill, Nebraska passed away at St. Anthony's hospital in O'Neill on January 16, 1968. Funeral services for Mrs. Honke will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in O'Neill at 9:00 A.M. Friday, January 19, Father John Connealy officiating. The body will be in state at Biglin's Funeral Home on Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Rosary at 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at the Ss. Peter and Paul cemetery at Butte. Mildred Anna Krikac was born December 19, 1889 in Cheyenne County, Nebraska, the daughter of Andrew and Anna Krikac. She was married to Frank Honke who passed away in 1928. She is a retired Northwestern Bell Telephone operator, having been an operator in Butte, Ainsworth and Omaha. She moved to O'Neill from Omaha in 1950. She was a member of Northwestern Telephone Pioneers, St. Patrick's Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by one son, Leonard F. Honke of Camdenton, Missouri and one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Gallagher of O'Neill, several grand children, two sisters, Mrs. Rose Horne of Wellington, Kansas and Mrs. Mary Clausen of Denver, Colorado; and three brothers, George Krikac of Butte, Wm. Krikac of Sturgis, South Dakota, and Tom Krikac of Rapid City, South Dakota
