Ernest Sobotka Obit Ernest Sobotka the third child of Frank and Josephine Sobotka was born February 21, 1899 at Dwight, NE, and passed away at Bee January 30, 1932 aged 32 years 11 mo. 9 days. When nine years of age he moved with his parents to Bee and has resided there continuously since that time. He was married to Albina Divis at Seward in 1921 and she with two children, Ronald and Eva, survive him. The youngest child, Erma preceded him in 1927. Besides these he is also survived by his parents of Bee, five brothers and four sisters as follows; Vladimir, Stanley, Stazie, and Raymond of Bee. Albina of Raymond, NE, Hilda of Lincoln, Jerry of Indianapolis, Fady of Lincoln and Josephine of Seward. He had been associated with his brothers since he grew to manhood, contracting and building, until his health became so poor he was unable to continue. He was a member of Bee Lodge A. F. and A. M. and Leese chapter Royal Arch Masons of Seward. He was of a quiet disposition yet made many friends all of whom regret his untimely passing. The funeral services were held from the Chain and Wood Chapel Tuesday, 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. E. L. Reese and the Oliver Lodge of Free Mason. The body was interred in the Seward Cemetery.
