Bio

Funeral services for Mrs. Luther Bishop, 74, were held from the Olney First Methodist Church with Rev. Joseph I. Patterson, pastor, officiating. Mrs. Bishop had been in ill health about seven years and had been in serious condition for nine days. She came to Texas with her parents when she was a small child. They settled in Kaufman County, Texas where she married Luther Bishop in 1903. The Bishops moved to Young County in 1908. Survivors: daughter - Mrs. Nellie Campbell of Olney; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; brother - R.L. King of Dallas, sister - Mrs. T.M. Yant of Fort Worth.
