The Lamar County Echo. Dec. 1978. - Autry Lionel Sikes, 67, of Talco, died Saturday, December 16, 1978, at his home. Funeral services were held Monday, December 18, in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Glenn Renfro and Jim Holder officiating. Burial was in Talco Cemetery, Mr. Sikes was born April 3, 1911, and had lived most of his life in Talco. Survivors include his wife, the former Marcie Cato; one daughter of Talco; his mother, Mrs. Maude Sikes of Paris; a sister, of Talco; two brothers, of Paris and Mount Pleasant; and two grandchildren.
