Obituary: Lawton Constitution, 1 Dec 1961 (corrected) Cache (Special).. - Services were held a 2:00 pm today in the First Baptist church for W. J. Risinger, 81, farmer and resident of the state since 1891 who died Wednesday night in a Lawton hospital. Rev. E. M. Freye officiated. Burial was in the Cache cemetery under direction of the Cache Funeral home. Born Dec 31, 1879 Brazos county, Texas, he came to Friendship, Oklahoma in 1891, and moved to Cache in 1935. He married Mrs. Maude Caywood in 1948 at Cache. Survivors include his wife of the home; Five sons, Claude Risinger, Cache: L. O. and H. F. Risinger of Elmer: and John and W. J. Risinger, Altus: four daughters, Mrs. Florence Rose, Altus: Mrs. Lottie Seay, Fort Sill: Mrs. Thelma Harrell, Orlando, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Lois Cunningham, Hollis: a brother, R. L. Risinger, Bakersfield, California: two sisters, Mrs. Lula West, of Arizona, and Mrs. Bertie Holligan, Floydada, Texas: 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
