Joseph graduated from David City High School in David City, NE in 1950. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. On August 6, 1956, he married Nadine Jones in David City, NE. He was a baker for Evans Bakery in Cozad, NE for 18 years. He was a member of American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Nadine, his children, Susie (Tom) Kaberline of Maple Hill and Tom (Kahla) Kliment of Carbondale; six siblings, Emil Klement of Ulysses, NE; Frank Klement of Ulysses, NE; Rosie Westerhoff of Seward, NE; Annie Klement of Ulysses, NE; Mary (Pete) Kortum of Grand Island, NE; John (Anita) Klement of Ulysses, NE; five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Jeffrey. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 15, at the St. Matthew Catholic Church. Burial in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
