Bio

Joseph "Joe" Frances Pavlu, 88, of Hallettsville, died Tuesday, April 30, 2002. He was born Aug. 27, 1913, in Lavaca County, to the late Aloise and Frances Mucala Pavlu. Joe was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Hallettsville. He was a veteran of World War II, member of the American Legion Post 230, Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre and of the KJT and KJZT. He was member of the Knights of Columbus Council 2433, of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Yoakum Assembly and of the Catholic Knights of America. He is survived by his wife, Benita Meyer Pavlu.
