Services for Annie H. Janda, 90, of the Hostyn community in Fayette County, Texas were held March 8 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn with Monsignor Stanley Petru officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Janda died March 6 at Monument Hill Nursing Center in La Grange. She was born on March 19, 1912, in Hostyn, the daughter of Henry J. and Agnes Adamcik Janda. Janda was a homemaker and affiliated with Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a member of the K.J.Z.T., Catholic Daughters, Living Rosary Society and Christian Mothers Association. Janda was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her sister, Martha Hoffmann of Hostyn, two brothers, Lad Janda of Houston and Richard B. Janda of Austin; three nieces, Loretta Valenta, Dolores Gilliland and Diane Janda; three nephews, Ted Hoffmann, Dick Janda and Donald Janda, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
