Bio

Robert “Bob” Frank Pustejovsky, 87, of Cuero, died November 4, 2003. He was born on February 4, 1916 in Lavaca County to the late John and Mary Tesar Pustejovsky. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was a maintenance repairman for Hotel Supply Co. and helped repair the concrete at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans of San Antonio and St. Michael Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife Ludmilla Kneifel Pustejovsky of Cuero; sisters, Emily Petru and Lorene Hajek, both of Shiner, and Rose Bujnoch of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation was Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary was also recited Wednesday at the funeral home chapel. Services were Thursday at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Rev. Robert Knippenberg officiated. Burial was at Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home Chapel, Shiner, 361-594-3352. Pallbearers: Ben Mozisek, Adolph Welfel, Dennis Kneifel, Leroy Petru, Tom Clinkscales, and Roman Bujnoch Jr.
