YOAKUM – Mrs. Josephine Horky, 75, of Yoakum died at 2:40 p.m. Sunday in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be Tuesday 1 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be is in Shiner Catholic Cemetery. A rosary will be recited Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Buffington Funeral Home in Yoakum. Surviving are her husband, Joe Horky of Yoakum; two sons, Eugene Petru of Yoakum and Ernest Petru of Sugar Land; two daughters, Mrs. Emil J. Tomek of Shiner and Mrs. Ruby Colle of Yoakum; two brothers Joe and Matt Stary of Yoakum; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Janca of Yoakum, Mrs. Madeline Peters of Shiner and Mrs. Elizabeth Michna of Wharton; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
