Shiner Gazetter Shiner,Tx October 14, 1993 Adelia 'Della' Baros of Shiner, age 88 years, 2 months, and 12 days died at 1:50 AM Mon Oct 11 1993 at Trinity Lutheran Home, Shiner. Rosary was recited at 7:30 PM Mon Oct 11 at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel, Shiner. Funeral services were held at 2 PM Tues Oct 12 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Shiner. Altar Society and Catholic Daughters rosary was recited at 1:30 PM prior to the services. Burial was in the Shiner Catholic Cemetery, under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home, Shiner. Pallbearers were Allen Kurtz, Darrel Hagendorf, Ronnie Roznovsky, Mark Mraz, Frank Miculka and Robert Baros. She was born July 29 1905 in Gonzales County to the late Frank and Cecilia Machlicek Roznovsky. She attended Sunset School. She was a homemaker and a Catholic, a member of the Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters. She was married to Albert L. Baros on Nov 13 1928 in the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner. They resided near Shiner and farmed for their livelihood. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Margie and Leroy Hagendorf of Yoakum; two sisters, Ella Miculka and Rosie McArthur, both of Shiner; one brother, Albert Roznovsky of Cuero; two grandchildren, Carolyn Polson of Houston and Darrel Hagendorf of San Antonio; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband on December 8, 1964; her father on September 23, 1935; her mother on May 8, 1958; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Balusek-Klecka on March 12, 1943; Mrs. Ed (Julie) Mraz on November 25, 1970; Mrs. Charles (Mary) Kurtz, Sr. on November 24, 1972; two brothers, Jim Roznovsky on December 23, 1956 and Mike Roznovsky on September 30, 1960 and a grandson, David Hagendorf on January 26, 1969.
