Bio

Thomas Stevens, son of Americus and Luzetta Wells Stevens, was born February 13, 1911, in Coatsville, Mo. Mr. Stevens, 75, of Centerville, died January 14, 1987, at the Golden Age Care Center in Centerville. He married Lucille Moore on October 25, 1930, in Centerville. He was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Darl and Dale of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Donald of Centerville; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Ray of Portland, Oregon; two sisters, Mabel McHenry of Belton, Mo., and Lucille Brown of Glendale, Mo. Other survivors include a nephew, Charles Stevens, Lancaster. Funeral services were held Sunday 1:30 p.m. at Duley Funeral Home. The Rev. Fritz Zimbelman officiated. Burial was in Hilltown Cemetery south of Moulton.
