John Laudenklos (53272828) Suggested edit: Columbus Telegram April 02, 2001 John Laudenklos NEWMAN GROVE - John Laudenklos, 44, of Newman Grove died Saturday, March 31, 2001, as a result of injuries suffered in an auto accident. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Newman Grove with the Rev. David Collins III officiating. Burial will be at Hope Cemetery in Newman Grove. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at the Newman Grove Memorial Funeral Home in Newman Grove. Mr. Laudenklos was born March 2, 1957, at Norfolk to Eugene and Shirley (Maneely) Laudenklos. He received his education at Boone County District 49 and Albion High School, graduating in 1975. He was employed by Lindsay Manufacturing, was a farmer and a self-employed mechanic in the Newman Grove area. He was recently employed at Cedar Valley Ag Services. He married Sue Arends on Aug. 25, 1978, at Petersburg. He was a member of the Church of God in Albion and was currently a member of Shell Creek Lutheran Church in Newman Grove. Survivors include his wife; one son, Jeff Laudenklos of Newman Grove; two daughters, Jana Laudenklos and Jennifer Laudenklos, both of Newman Grove; his mother of Newman Grove; one brother, Jim (Carol) Laudenklos of Meadow Grove; one sister, Julie (Randy) Benson of Newman Grove; and his grandmother, Opal Maneely of Newman Grove.
