Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Jan. 26, 1976 Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday from the Seydler Hill Chapel for Rudolph Marek, who died at his home Thursday at 8:30 a.m. The Rev. David Crabtree pastor of the Monthalia United Methodist Church, officiated with burial following in the City Cemetery. Mr. Marek was born in Gonzales on September 15, 1906, the son of John and Betty Pesek Marek, natives of Praha. He was a farmer and rancher in the Monthalia area and was married on November 9, 1974, to Mrs. Irna Rokohl Dullnig. He was a member of the Monthalia United Methodist church and of the SPJST Lodge. He was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, one of whom, Joe Marek, died November 4, 1975.
