Bio
Mr. Glen Bell, age 91, of McKinney, Texas passed away July 19, 2006 in McKinney. He was born September 5, 1914, in Melissa, Texas to Taylor and Mary (Maples) Bell. On July 18, 1938, he married Wanda Honea in McKinney, Texas. Mr. Bell was a machinist for 25 years with Johnson & Johnson and was a member of Community North Baptist Church, formerly King Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Wanda; daughters Glenda Magnuson of Fairview and Nancy Bell of Ft. Worth; daughter-in-law Linda Bell of Houston; grandchildren David Cooper, Amy Robinson, Vanessa Brownlee, Roni Gralka, Jamie Bell, and Jody Hess; great-grandchildren Halee Robinson, Clay Cooper, Ty Cooper, Cameron Gralka and Taylor Gralka; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. His parents; son Ronnie; granddaughter Jeri Cooper; brothers Louis, Alva and Noel; and sister Ruth Swanner preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, July 21, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Don Bourland officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Community North Baptist Church, 401 W. Erwin St., McKinney, TX 75069.
