First Wife of Francis Mariom Paterman, married 27 Oct. 1853 in Saline Co. Missouri. She had 4 children, Margaret S., Jasper O., Emily M. and Sterling Price Peterman. Obituary courtesy of Sherida (Riggs) Childers PETERMAN, Mrs. Sophia Ann (nee Williamson) was born in Berkley Co, Va., Jan 20, 1829; moved with her parents to Mo. in 1852; married to Mr. M. Peterman, Nov 1853, and died Jan 3, 1880. They came to Mo. together and were converted at the same meeting. By D.B.C.
