Bio

JOHN BLAZEK SR. John Blazek, Sr., 64, a former resident of Schulenberg, died Friday in a local hospital following a short illness. Mr. Blazek was born Mary 13, 1906, in Shawnee, Okla., and was employed with Crescent Valley Creamery. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Inez, and was a resident of Telferner. Funeral arrangements are pending at McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Lucille Blazek of Telferner; four daughters, Miss Carol Ann Blazek and Miss Rita Blazek, both of Telferner; Mrs. Frances Fischer of Texas City and Mrs. Virginia Leach of Houston; two sons, James of Telferner and John Blazek Jr. of Hitchcock; a sister, Mrs. Leda Callahan of El Paso; two brothers, Paul of Houston and Joe Blazek of Ganado; and five grandchildren.
