Married Cora Belle Tuley, November 6, 1948. Survived by his wife, children: Allen Andrew, Don Dwayne, J R Gibson, Vickey Hill; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Preceeded by his parents, James Robert and Ola Omega. Followed by his wife, Cora, January 18, 2000, and a granddaughter, Patti Hill, on August 15, 2010, grandson, Chris Hill, on January 27, 2013.
