Bio

Husband of Mary J. Kauffmann (nee: Hughes); son of the late Erwin and Edna Kauffmann; father of Sue (Jim) Merz, Judy Kauffmann, and Margaret (Mike) Hay; grandfather of Julie Merz, Mitchell Hay, and Natalia Hay. Al was preceded in death by his sister Betty Hibbler. Al retired from Hussmann Refrigeration Company where he was a Foreman for 17 years. He also enjoyed woodworking, was an avid fan of the baseball Cardinals, loved to enter sweepstakes contests and was devoted to his grandchildren.
