Sam Damhues Dies Thursday; Funeral To Be Saturday Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 24, for Ignatz (Sam) Damhues, 65, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Tours at 9:30 a.m. Rev. Ed Geiser will officiate with burial in St. Martin’s Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Friday, December 23, at the Aderhold-Moore Funeral Chapel. Mr. Damhues was a retired farmer who had lived in the community of West most of his life. He was born Sept. 13, 1895. He died Thursday, December 22 at 5:00 a.m. at his home in Tours. Survivors include two sisters, Christine Damhues and Annie Damhues both of Tours; and two nephews and one niece.
