Bio
Services for Helen Cinnamon, 69, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Rev. R.W. Keeton officiating. Interment will be in Peaceful Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home. She died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005, at Covenant Medical Center. Helen Cinnamon was born Sept. 25, 1935 in Arthur, Tenn. to the late Henry and Dava Cinnamon. She was a homemaker and volunteered her time to help others. She was also a member of Mackenzie Terrace Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Billy Ray Cinnamon of Lubbock; a sister, Anna McArthur; a brother, Willard Cinnamon; four grandchildren, Carmila Ann, Billy Joe, Geneva Lea (Jenny), and Jimmy Ray; and six great-grandchildren. A brother, Leslie Farrell Cinnamon, preceded Helen in death March 17, 1995. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Sanders Funeral Home.
