Bio

OBITUARY Andrew S. Coppersmith was born in Decatur County, Iowa, June 20, 1859. In the spring of 1892 Mr. Coppersmith came to Nebraska settling in Polk County where he lived six years. From there he went to York County, residing there seven years than moving to Sherman County in 1904 making this his permanent home where he passed away May 22, 1924, age 64 years, 11 mo., 2 days. He was united in marriage to Mary Jane Cross, May 3, 1904. To this union two children were born, John William and Ruby Agnes who with the wife are left to mourn his loss. The deceased was a kind, thoughtful father and husband and loved by all who knew him. During his recent illness was a patient sufferer never complaining but willing and ready to answer the summons of the Heavenly Father. A loving one from us is gone. A voice we love is stilled. An aching void within our hearts which never can be filled. Let us be patient! These severe afflictions not from the ground arise; But often times celestial benedictions assume a dark disguise.
