Sarah Baskins Bell was the sixth of nine children born to Samuel Bell, Virginia and Janet Jean Allison, Pennsylvania. Names and birth order of Sarah and her siblings are: 1. Martha Kirk Bell, b: About 1807 in August County, Virginia 2. Frances Sterrett Bell (Sellers), b: January 1809 in Augusta County, Virginia 3. Eliza A. Bell, b: About 1811 in Augusta County, Virginia 4. William Henry Bell , b: 1813 in Augusta County, Virginia 5. Mary J. Bell, b: April 11, 1815 in Augusta County, Virginia 6. (Sarah Baskins Bell (Sellers), b: 1820 in Augusta County, Virginia) 7. James A. Bell, b: 8. Rachael L. Bell, b: 1824 in Augusta County, Virginia 9. Samuel George Bell , b: 1827 in Augusta County, Virginia Sarah married Jerome Howard Brown Sellers, 1825 Virginia, on October 30, 1848 in Augusta County, Virginia. According to the June 1, 1850 United States Census Mortality Schedule of District 2, Augusta County, Virginia, she died in November of 1849 of unknown causes. There were no children born to Sarah and Jerome. Jerome Sellers is enumerated on the July 6, 1850 United States Census of District 2, Augusta; County, Virginia as a widower residing in the same household as Sarah's siblings, Samuel G. Bell, Mary J. Bell and Rachel Bell.
