TX, precinct 3 (NW part) 16 yr old John is listed as a son in the household of Nicholas Minor b. abt Apr 1860 MO. & his wife Johnie, b. abt Sept. 1862 AL. John was married to Roxie Ella Lehew. Their son Marvin Lafrance Minor's death certificate lists his parents as John W. Minor & Roxie E. Lehew. John's father, Nicholas Peter Minor was born April 15, 1858 & died May 7, 1942 in Ellis Co, TX. On his death certificate his parents are listed as W. W. Minor, born in Virginia, & Mary Elizabeth Fortune, born in West Virginia. The informant on that death certificate is J. W. Minor of Bardwell, TX.
