Bio
Darlene M. Lorenson died at Asbury hospital where she had been a surgical patient for three days. Mrs. Lorenson had been an LPN at Mowery clinic and Asbury hospital. She was a graduate of Ord Nebraska High School and attended nursing school at the Universtiy of Kansas Medical School. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks, a past president of the Saline County Licensed Practical Nurses association and a member of St. Mary Queen of the Universe Roman Catholic Church. She and her husband were married in 1966. Mrs. Lorenson was preceded in death by her father, Emil Kokes. Survivors are the widower, James H. Lorenson jr.; 2 sons Mark and James H.; her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Huff, and a sister, Mrs. William Armatas.
