Bio
Daughter of Charles W. and Rosana Robinson. She married William Rosevelt Painter Foster on June 12, 1926 in Marietta, Love Co., Oklahoma She married second John Matejko ARTIE LEE FOSTER MATEJKO Artie Lee Foster Matejko, 85, of Amarillo, died Sunday, March 9, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bykota Southern Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rick Rice officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mrs. Matejko was born at Wichita Falls. She was a longtime Amarillo resident. She was a member of the Alamo Lady's Club and of Amarillo Senior Citizens Association. She was a member of Bykota Southern Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, William Foster in 1963 and John Matejko in 1989, and by two daughters, Bernice Dupy in 1987 and Anita O'Fallon in 1993. Survivors include two sons, Blackie Foster of Amarillo and Lewis Foster of California; two daughters, Helen Vanover and Joy Gonzales, both of Amarillo; and many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
