L Corp U.S. Marine Corps. Viet-Nam = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = Mark A. Johnson, 65, an assembler for General Motors, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2001, in Dallas. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Blanton Cemetery in Hill County. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cleburne Funeral Home. A family gathering will be held after the service at Charles and Betty McKinney's home in Blum. Mark A. Johnson was born Oct. 19, 1936, in Colleyville. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Survivors: Wife, Lee Johnson of Fort Worth ; sons, Gene L. Johnson of Fort Worth , Kirby J. Hamilton of Fenton, Mich. and Charles A. McKinney of Blum; daughters, Claudine Bradley of Covington, Cenith McCready of Fort Worth and LaVenda Haub of Fort Worth ; brothers, Raymond Johnson of Kennedale and Eugene Johnson of Fort Worth ; sisters, Emma Deen Sims of Pittsburg, Texas and Frankie Hardin of McKinney; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
