Contributed by Sue Lilley. Original photocopy work by Jeff Jackson. --------------------------------- THE LAMPASAS LEADER FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 23, 1906 Mrs. Rachael Huggins, mother of Rev. B.E. Huggins of this place, died Saturday in Killeen, after a protracted illness. Her son went down Friday and remained with her until she passed away. The body was buried at the family burial place near Maxdale, Bell county. The bereaved have universal sympathy. Mrs. Huggins was 71 years of age, and had lived in this section for many years.
