Bio

Son of William Love Young and Sophia Kamman. He married Ruth Carmen Boydston May 11, 1922 in Killeen, Bell, Texas. Children: Neva Lenora Young Wiley Rogers Young Ruth Darlene Young Wesley L. Young "Wallace worked with his father in the Maxdale Store in Maxdale, Bell, Texas. On Dec 1, 1921 he was appointed postmaster, a position he held until June 30, 1926, when the Maxdale post office was consolidated with Killeen, Texas post office. The Young family farmed property owned by Mancel McBryde, then in 1942 Wallace and his brother, Jack bought the Ray Norman farm".
