Joseph Korenek married Filomena Maresh in 1910.Children born to thi marriage (not linked) are. Charlie Korenek Marie Korenek Baresh Annie Korenek Mazoch 18 Grandchildren 19 Great-Grandchildren Joseph was seven years old when his parents brought him to America.The family settled near Schulenburg.After marriage,Joseph and Filomena farmed near Schulenburg until about seven years ago when they retired and moved to Weimar. Mr.Korenek passed away Tuesday at noon in San Jacinto Hotel,a home for the aged,where he had lived since August 1967. The Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard Funeral Home. Funeral services were held for Joseph Korenek Sr.,82,Friday January 26,1968 at 2:00 p.m. Hubbard Funeral Home and continuing at St.Michael's Catholic Church Rev.Emil Vinklarek officiating. Pallbearers were Joseph Korenek,Daniel Korenek,Ike Korenek,Frank C. Korenek,Joseph Mazoch and Johnnie Baresh.
