Bio

Emma 'Myrdell' Higdon was the daughter of William Gee "Will" Keller and Myrtle (Neff) Keller. Myrdell was married twice. Her first husband is unknown, but they were married in San Antonio, Bexar Co., Texas on August 20, 1938. The marriage didn't last and on March 01, 1943, Myrdell enlisted in the Inactive Reserve Branch of the Women's Army Corps with the rank of Private. She stated at the time that she was divorced without dependents. She married Jasper Ambrose "Jay" Higdon in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas on December 08, 1952.
