Funeral services for Joe Zajdl Sr., 82, of 7218 Hadley, a retired farmer, will be held Saturday in the Czech Moravian Brethren Church in Ennis, Ellis County. Burial in Ennis’ Crisp Cemetery. Survivors: wife; four sons, Charles, Joe Jr, Eddie, and Arnold Zajdl, all of Dallas; seven daughters, Mrs. Bud Autrey of Palmer, Ellis County; Mrs. Clyde Brodie of Petaluma, CA; and Mrs. J. D. Cockerham, Mrs. Charles Starek, Mrs. Raymond Morris, Mrs. Steve Witt, and Mrs. Jim Durbin of Dallas; a brother, Frank Zajdl of Ennis; a sister, Mrs. Adolph Novy of Ennis; 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
