Dillard married Myrtle M. McNew on December 24, 1908 in White Oaks, New Mexico. Per AZ free birth certificates online: Nettie Shartzer, born Dec. 16, 1910 in Globe, AZ was their second child. Father is noted as "Dan". 25, rancher and Myrtle is 21. Ada Virginia Shartzer, born Aug. 15, 1924 in Gila County, was their fifth child. Dillard was 39 and a rancher. Myrtle was 34 and a housewife.
