Bio

William Bell Edmonds was born in Pendleton County, Virginia which is now in West Virginia. He married Mary Catherine Reavis, daughter of James Ashley Reavis and Mary Bagwell in what is now now Boonesville, Cooper County Missouri on 04 Nov 1845. The Reavis and Edmonds family moved to Raney Creek, Coryell County, Texas about 1855. William and Mary moved to Gordon, Palo Pinto from Raneys Creek, Coryell County in the late 1850s. We don't know if the move was to help Jennie with her six children but William and his daughter died within nine days of each other. The general speculation is the influenza outbreak which hit Gordon in 1889.
