Marguerite B. West November 21, 1911 September 18, 2001 Marguerite B. West, age 89, of Oklahoma City, was born November 21, 1911 in Faxon, Oklahoma to Johanna and Franz Buchwald. She died peacefully on Tuesday, September 18, 2001. Marguerite graduated from Oklahoma State University and worked in Oklahoma City as a legal secretary for many years before meeting and marrying her husband of 63 years, Allen G. West. While raising her family she was a business education teacher in Ohio. Marguerite and her husband returned to live in Oklahoma City in 1987. She is survived by her husband, Allen G. West of Oklahoma City; her sons, Gerald West of Cincinnati, Ohio and Randy West of Lowville, New York; her daughters, Marilyn Painkerton of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Janet West of New York, New York and Sharon West of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren.
