LEFORS - Ralph Dee Alexander, 77, died Monday, May 10, 2010 in Gray County, Texas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church of Lefors with the Rev. Lewis Ellis, retired Baptist minister, and the Rev. Ronnie Lambert, minister of First Baptist Church of Lefors, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Pampa with military honors courtesy of the U. S. Army, Fort Hood. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mr. Alexander served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, and later served in the Naval Reserve. He was a resident of Pampa for more than 20 years before moving to Lefors in 1974. Survivors include his wife, Maudie Alexander; two sons, Don Alexander of Pampa and Dale Alexander of Amarillo; a stepson, James Taylor of Canyon; three stepdaughters, Linda Bruton of Pampa, Sheila White of Amarillo and Darla Ferguson of Keller; three sisters, Gwen Walters of Larned, Kan.; JoAnn Bagley of Georgia and Judy Lookhart of Manhattan, Kan.; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church 315 E.
