Bio

Peppertown – Faye Ellen Davis, 80, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a long illness. She was born Sept. 18, 1929, in Itawamba County to Carson and Nannie Mae Rogers Loden. She was a retired employee of the Itawamba County School District and a member of Riverhill Baptist Church. She was an avid homemaker and a Master Gardener. Services were at Senter Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with burial in the Friendship Methodist Church Cemetery. Survivors included her husband of 48 years, Onan Fred Davis of Fulton; two sons, Wade Davis of Tupelo and Perry Davis of California; one brother, Ray Loden (Ann) of Birmingham; a half brother, Jessie Wade Loden of Palm Springs, Calif.; a half sister, Wanda Nolta (Frank) of Coronado, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents; her adoptive parents, George and Gladys Christian; and a brother, Wade Loden.
