Oregon, August 24, 1985 Addie Leola Alford of 5335 Main St., Space 220, Springfield, and previously of 483 Cheshire St., Eugene, passed away August 21, 1985, at the age of 85. She was born March 29, 1900, in Iduma, Missouri, and was married April 11, 1917, in Eugene to William Everett Alford. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, on January 25, 1981. She is survived by 4 sons and daughters-in-law, a daughter and son-in-law: Neal and Thelma of Eugene, Norman and Mona of Eugene, William and Enola Burke of Springfield, Alvin and Leora (wife deceased) of Springfield, and Richard Alford of Winchester Bay, Oregon; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Monday, August 26, 1985, at 11:30 a.m. in West Lawn Memorial Park, with Danny Dixon of the Eastside Baptist Church officiating. The family has requested a closed casket. West Lawn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
