Simon Moucha Dies at St. Joseph's Hospital Monday Evening After a Few Days Illness Simon Moucha, aged 73, resident of the Town of Anson since the turn of the century, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital at 7:00 Monday evening after an illness of only a few days. He was born July 4, 1865 in Czechoslovakia and came to America with his parents in 1881, settling in Austin, Minnesota. At the age of 25, he moved to the state of Washington where he was united in marriage to Josephine Uhler. Eight years later they moved to the Town of Anson where he has since resided. Mr. Moucha is survived by his wife and seven children: Mrs. Rudolph Kure, Frank, Stanley and Edward, all of the Town of Arthur; Henry of Sigel; Emil of Myrtle, Minnesota; and Mrs. Mary Mudra of Austin, Minnesota. Two other brothers, Bohumil and Frank, preceded him in death. Funeral services were held under the auspices of Z.C.B.J. Lodge at the Bohemian Hall in Drywood at 2:00 Thursday afternoon.
