Ida Lee Johnson "Not gone but only away for a while. God called his Angel home" Funeral services for Ida Lee Baudion Johnson will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in the Freedom Baptist Church of Pitkin with the Rev. Jeff James officiating. Committal services will follow in the Blue Branch Cemetery of Pitkin under the guidance of White Oaks, Oakdale. Ida, 80, of Pitkin, passed away Monday, May 3, 2010 in her residence. She was born on December 22, 1929, in Duson to the union of Donacin Baudion and Amelia Marie Gerard Baudion. She was Baptist by faith, attending the Freedom Baptist Church for most of her life and a homemaker raising 13 children. She also was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Johnson; one son, Clay Johnson; one daughter, Wanda Sharpe; two brothers, Allen and Leroy Baudion and her parents. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her eleven children, Johnny Stafford of Tomball, Texas, Pat Stafford and Corita Willis both of Plainview, Dale Johnson of Opelousas, Chris Johnson of Houma, Keith Stafford, Charles Ray Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Bobbie Davis, Darlene Perkins, Missy Williams and Wendy Landen all of Pitkin; two sisters, Mabel Pellerin and Mazie Thibo-deaux both of Scott; two brothers, Carroll Baudion of Mire and Glaston Baudion of Nederland, Texas; twenty-eight grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
