Born at Velke Hosteradky, Moravia Mrs. Bessie Tupy Ennis, Texas – Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Tupy, 81, of Route 3 Ennis, Ellis County, a native of Czechoslovakia, will be held Friday in the Keever Mortuary Chapel in Ennis. Burial will be in Crisp Cemetery. Mrs. Tupy died Wednesday in an Ennis hospital. She moved to the United State in 1939 and lived in Ennis from then until 1973, when she moved to Dallas. She moved back to Ennis this year. She was a member of the Dallas Brethren Church, the SPJST Lodge 135, the WFLA 402 and the Circle of Czech Women. Mrs. Tupy is survived by one son, Wesley Tupy Jr; seven daughters, Mrs. Bob Zvolanek, Mrs. Frank Sebestik, Mrs. Tom Roberts, Mrs. Bill Baker, Miss Georgia Tupy, Mrs. Cherry Wisniewski and Mrs. Milan Dujka; two sisters, Mrs. Steffie Johnson and Mrs. Kristina Nadenicek; one brother, Frank Krhanek; 11 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
