Bio

"Funeral services for Charles E. White, aged 66, of Wortham, who died at Wortham Thursday morning with a heart attack, were held from the Corley Chapel Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery. The rites were conducted by Rev. E. R. Gordon, Methodist minister of Comanche. A native Texan, Mr. White resided in Navarro county practically all of his life. He formerly was superintendent of the Navarro County farm in the Petty's Chapel area, and was well-known here. Surviving are his wife of Wortham; a daughter, Mrs. H. D. McAfee of Corsicana; a brother, Will White of Snyder, Okla.; and other relatives." Corsicana Semi-Weekly Light (Corsicana, Texas), February 25, 1941
