Mrs. John Polak, 79, Sucumbs at Ennis Ennis, Texas – Mrs. J. Polak, 79, a resident of Ennis for 73 years, died in an Ennis hospital Monday. Mrs. Polak was a native of Waupaca, Wis. She was married in Ennis in 1892 to George Kouba, who died in 1911. In 1912 she was married to John Polak, who survives. Other survivors are three sons, George Kouba of Ennis, Wesley Kouba of Dallas and Johnnie Polak of Dexter, NM; four daughters, Mrs. John Skrivanek, Mrs. Leslie Jarolimek, Mrs. Willie Jaresch and Mrs. Earl Parker, all of Ennis; a brother, John Sebetke of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Ed Novy, Mrs. Frank Kucera and Mrs. John Hejny, all of Ennis; 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the Keever Chapel here Tuesday. Burial will be in the cemetery at Crisp.
